Conway Emergency Shelter

CAPCA Operates the City of Conway's Emergency Shelter & an Emergency Shelter Program

The Shelter is located a 1116 Gum St. in Conway, AR. The facility will open on December 21, 2023. It is an overnight shelter serving adults 18 and older. Families with children will be served through our Emergency Shelter Program (when funds are available).  Eligible households experiencing homelessness may receive up to 3 nights hotel stay to allow them time to obtain permanent housing.

Due to extremely limited funding to qualify the client MUST be verifiably homeless AND meet one or more of the following criteria:

• Physically disabled and receiving disability
• Pregnant
• Elderly (65+)
• Have children (17 and under) that will be staying in the room with them.
• Have medical conditions that require the use of electricity.
