The Low- income Home Energy Assistance Program is designed to assist eligible  persons with utility bills.  A number of Individuals who participate in the LiHeap crisis program are enrolled in the Assurance 16 Program.  Assurance 16 builds upon the individual’s strengths and provides information  on ways to reduce their home energy needs. These programs operate only when funds are available. When available fans are provided to participants through our Fan Program.

When LiHEAP is not in operation other emergency utility assistance may be provided to eligible households, dependent upon available funding.
